It is officially managed by Rotwild Weinkellerei, located in Zell an der Mosel. The brand is part of the extensive portfolio of Peter Mertes KG, a family-owned winery founded in 1924. Today, Peter Mertes is one of the largest wine producers in Germany and Europe, maintaining its headquarters in Bernkastel-Kues. They oversee the entire production chain from cultivation and selection to bottling and distribution, ensuring high standards for their semi-dry and dry varietals popular in German retail.
