Le Petit Marseillais is a renowned brand of personal care products that originated in Provence, France, in the early 1980s. Taking its name from the local newspaper of Marseille, the brand was built on the heritage of the traditional 'Savon de Marseille,' focusing on natural Mediterranean ingredients and scents. Its authentic approach to skin care made it a household name across Europe.

The brand was originally developed by Bernard Lengellé before being acquired by Laboratoires Vendôme. Eventually, the brand became a flagship label for the American multinational Johnson & Johnson. However, as part of a significant corporate restructuring in 2023, Johnson & Johnson's consumer health division was spun off into a new independent company named Kenvue. Consequently, Le Petit Marseillais is now under the ultimate ownership of Kenvue, headquartered in the United States. While manufacturing remains strongly rooted in France to maintain the brand's authentic Provencal identity, production facilities exist in other locations to meet global demand.
