Aladdin Studio

Aladdin (Asset, Liability, Debt and Derivative Investment Network) is a premier electronic system by BlackRock. Originally developed in late 1980s by BlackRock's founders to manage risk and provide a single platform for investment professionals, it has since grown into a global industry standard for asset managers and institutional investors.

The brand is fundamentally an American innovation, born out of the necessity for sophisticated risk management in the fluctuating bond markets. Today, the Aladdin Studio component provides developers and financial institutions with API access to BlackRock's proprietary data and analytical models, enabling them to build custom solutions on top of the existing ecosystem.

BlackRock, the ultimate owner, is the world's largest asset manager. Headquartered in New York City, it remains a publicly traded company that oversees trillions of dollars in assets globally.
