Bjorg is a leading French organic brand founded in 1988 by the company Distriborg. It was a pioneer in bringing organic health food to French supermarkets. While the brand originated in Lyon, France, its dairy-alternative beverages like this soy milk are typically manufactured in specialized facilities in Italy, within the European Union.

The brand's ownership has evolved significantly over the decades. Distriborg became Wessanen after a series of acquisitions, and the corporate entity was eventually renamed Ecotone. In 2019, Ecotone (formerly Wessanen) was acquired by a consortium led by PAI Partners and Charles Jobson, and it remains a major European player in the organic and plant-based food sector, headquartered in Saint-Genis-Laval near Lyon.
