Davitamon is a leading Dutch brand specializing in vitamins and dietary supplements. The brand's history dates back to 1928 when it introduced the first vitamin D supplement in the Netherlands, produced by the pharmaceutical company Organon. Over the decades, Davitamon has become a household name, known for its wide range of products tailored to different life stages, including infants, pregnant women, and the elderly.

The brand has changed hands several times through corporate mergers and acquisitions. It was part of the Chefaro organization for many years. Today, Davitamon is owned by Omega Pharma, a major European over-the-counter healthcare company. Omega Pharma itself was acquired by the American pharmaceutical giant Perrigo in 2015. Consequently, while the brand maintains its strong Dutch heritage and primary manufacturing roots in the Netherlands, its ultimate corporate ownership is based in Ireland (Perrigo's headquarters).
