Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies, known in some markets as Coco Pops, is a chocolate-flavored version of the classic Rice Krispies cereal. The brand originated in the United States and was introduced by the Kellogg Company in 1958. It is famous for its puffed rice texture and its long-standing mascots, including Snap, Crackle, and Pop or Coco the Monkey, depending on the region. The product is manufactured globally to serve different regional markets, with major production facilities in North America and Europe.
Following a significant corporate restructuring in 2023, the Kellogg Company split into two independent entities: WK Kellogg Co and Kellanova. WK Kellogg Co now manages the traditional North American cereal business, while Kellanova oversees the global snacking and international cereal brands. This evolution marks a new chapter for the century-old brand, maintaining its heritage while focusing on specialized market growth.
