Royal Club is an iconic Dutch brand known for its sophisticated soft drinks, including its signature Tonic, Bitter Lemon, and Ginger Ale. Originally established in the Netherlands, the brand positioned itself as the premium choice for 'discerning adults,' a legacy it continues to uphold today.
The brand's origin dates back to the early 20th century in the Netherlands under the management of the Tieleman & Dros company. Over the decades, it became a household name in the Dutch market, catering to consumers who prefer a less sweet and more refined beverage profile. Today, the manufacturing and distribution are primarily centered in the Netherlands, ensuring high quality and local production standards.
Since 1999, Royal Club has been part of the Vrumona portfolio. Vrumona is a prominent Dutch beverage manufacturer headquartered in Bunnik. In late 2023, the ultimate ownership transitioned to the Danish brewing giant Royal Unibrew, which acquired Vrumona to expand its presence in the Benelux market. This acquisition secures Royal Club's future as a key player in the European premium soft drink segment.
