Originally a pharmacist who produced chocolate as a health product, Delacre shifted focus to fine gourmet biscuits, becoming an official supplier to the Belgian Royal Court. Today, the Tea Time assortment is one of their most iconic products, featuring a variety of chocolate-covered and flavored biscuits. While the brand has deep Belgian roots and continues to manufacture its products in its factories in Brussels (Lambermont) and Nieppe (France), its ownership has transitioned through several international food conglomerates. In 2016, Delacre was acquired from United Biscuits by the Ferrero Group, specifically through a corporate entity affiliated with the Ferrero family, placing it under Italian ultimate ownership.
