The brand is owned by FrieslandCampina, one of the largest dairy cooperatives in the world. While Chocomel's dairy versions are often produced in Aalter, Belgium, or various sites in the Netherlands, the plant-based production often utilizes specialized facilities in Belgium. FrieslandCampina maintains strict control over the secret recipe, ensuring the 'De Enige Echte' (The One and Only) quality remains consistent across its expanding product line.
