Chocomel is an iconic Dutch brand known as 'De Enige Echte' (The Only Real One), originally launched in the 1930s by Friesland Foods. This plant-based variant is crafted using a blend of cashew and pea protein to replicate the famous creamy taste of the original chocolate milk without the dairy.

While the brand is deeply rooted in the Netherlands, production for this specific plant-based variety is located in Belgium. The brand is currently owned by FrieslandCampina, one of the world's largest dairy cooperatives, which was formed through the merger of Friesland Foods and Campina in 2008.
