Johma kip-samba salade

Johma is the best-known salad brand in the Netherlands, originating from Losser in Twente. Founded in 1968 by Johan and Martin (whose names combined form 'Johma'), the company specializes in spreadable salads for bread and toast. The kip-samba (chicken samba) variant is a popular spicy chicken salad within their extensive range.

While it began as a family business, Johma has changed hands several times, having been owned by HJ Heinz and later private equity firms. Today, it is part of the Signature Foods group, a major player in the European chilled food market. Most production continues to take place at their facility in Losser, maintaining their local heritage while operating as part of a larger international food conglomerate.
