Ben Bracken is a private label brand of Scotch whisky exclusive to the retail chain Lidl. While the brand is well-regarded for offering quality single malts from diverse regions like Islay, Speyside, and the Highlands, it does not own its own distillery. Instead, the whisky is sourced from various established Scottish distilleries and bottled specifically for Lidl.
As a "Product of Scotland," all production phases including distillation, maturation for at least three years in oak casks, and bottling occur within Scotland to meet the protected legal definition of Scotch Whisky. Ownership of the brand rests entirely with the Schwarz Group, the German multinational retail conglomerate that operates Lidl, making it a key part of their premium spirits portfolio across Europe and beyond.
