Kellogg's Special K Large Box

Special K is a globally recognized breakfast cereal originally developed and launched by the Kellogg Company in 1955. It was initially marketed as a high-protein cereal and has since evolved into a diverse line of products including various flavors, bars, and shakes. The brand is deeply rooted in the United States, where Will Keith Kellogg first established the company in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Today, Special K is manufactured in multiple countries to serve regional markets, with significant production facilities in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. In 2023, the original Kellogg Company underwent a major corporate restructuring, splitting into two separate entities. The North American cereal business became WK Kellogg Co, while the global snacking, international cereal, and plant-based foods division was renamed Kellanova. As of 2024, Mars, Incorporated announced an agreement to acquire Kellanova, which will make Mars the ultimate owner of the Special K brand globally once the deal is fully integrated into the 2025-2026 period.
