Today, Verkade is owned by pladis, a global snacking company formed in 2016. pladis is the snacking division of the Turkish conglomerate Yıldız Holding. Despite the international ownership, the brand maintains its Dutch identity and manufacturing roots, with its primary production facilities remaining in the Netherlands.
