The brand 'Campina' was officially established in 1947. This specific product, Langlekker, is a UHT (Ultra-High Temperature) treated long-life whole milk, allowing it to be stored outside the refrigerator until opened.

Today, Campina is the flagship brand of FrieslandCampina, one of the largest dairy cooperatives in the world. The company is owned by the Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina U.A., which consists of thousands of member farmers across the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. The production of Dutch Campina products primarily takes place in various processing facilities located throughout the Netherlands, utilizing milk supplied by local member farmers.
