Kellogg's is one of the most iconic names in the global food industry, founded in Battle Creek, Michigan, by Will Keith Kellogg in 1906. The All-Bran line specifically was launched in 1916 as a health-focused cereal aimed at high fiber intake. Over the past century, the brand has expanded its manufacturing footprint globally to meet international demand, with major facilities remaining in the USA while also operating in Canada, the UK, and Australia.
In a significant corporate restructuring completed in late 2023, the original Kellogg Company split into two independent, publicly traded entities. The North American cereal business, which includes brands like All-Bran, Frosted Flakes, and Froot Loops, is now officially owned and operated by WK Kellogg Co. This move was designed to focus specifically on the cereal category in the US, Canadian, and Caribbean markets, while the snacks division (Pringles, Cheez-It) moved to a separate company called Kellanova.
