Jumbo Arachide Olie is a private label peanut oil produced for Jumbo Supermarkten, one of the largest Dutch supermarket chains. The oil is specifically marketed for stir-frying and high-heat cooking due to its high smoke point. As a store brand, the raw materials are typically sourced globally and processed or bottled by contract manufacturers mainly located within Europe to supply the Benelux market. Originally established in 1921 as a grocery wholesaler in Veghel, Jumbo has grown into a dominant retail force in the Netherlands. It remains a privately held family business under the ownership of the Van Eerd family via the Jumbo Groep Holding.
