Agora Protocol / Network

Agora is a lightweight JSON-based communication protocol designed for structured two-party exchanges between clients and servers. Originally conceptualized by Samuele Marro, it facilitates both single-round and multi-round (stateful) conversations, ensuring a consistent envelope for data transmission. While it is rooted in technical specifications akin to IETF standards, its implementation is designed to be agnostic to underlying application logic, requiring only HTTPS for secure transport.

As a decentralized or open-source technical standard, there is no physical 'manufacturing' in the traditional sense; instead, the protocol is implemented globally by developers and node operators. The ownership is tied to the open-source community under the guidance of its original creator, emphasizing simplicity, extensibility, and clarity in the exchange of digital data across the web.
