The company initially started as a chicory drying facility but quickly pivoted to semolina and pasta production, establishing itself as a regional leader in the sector. Over the decades, it has remained a family-controlled business, maintaining deep roots in its Belgian heritage while expanding its product range to include various types of dry pasta, flour, and semolina mixes.

Today, Soubry remains an independent, family-owned enterprise under the ultimate ownership of the Soubry family. The company operates high-tech production facilities in Roeselare, making it one of the few large-scale pasta manufacturers in Northern Europe that controls the entire production chain from grain to fork. Their products are widely distributed across the Benelux region and exported internationally.
