Moosehead Breweries stands as one of Canada's most historic and enduring brewing icons. Established in 1867—the same year as Canadian Confederation—the brewery was founded by Susannah Oland in Saint John, New Brunswick. Known originally as the Army and Navy Brewery, it survived devastating fires and the Halifax Explosion, eventually evolving into the Moosehead brand that is recognized globally today.

As the largest 100% Canadian-owned and operated independent brewery, Moosehead maintains its manufacturing roots firmly in Saint John, New Brunswick.
