The brand has undergone several ownership changes throughout its history. It was famously owned by United Biscuits for a significant period. However, in 2004, the brand returned to its roots when it was acquired by Roger & Roger, a family-owned Belgian potato processor based in Moeskroen. Today, Croky is celebrated for its local heritage, particularly its Belgian and Dutch roots, and focus on high-quality potato products manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities in Belgium.
