Over the decades, the brand's center of gravity shifted toward Germany. Werner Böck, the original German distribution partner, gradually acquired shares until becoming the majority owner in 1997. Following this, the company headquarters were relocated from Stockholm to Stephanskirchen, Germany. Today, Marc O'Polo SE remains an owner-managed family company, with Werner Böck and his son, CEO Maximilian Böck, leading the strategic direction.
