Joseph Drouhin Saint-Véran

Joseph Drouhin is one of the most prominent families in the Burgundy region of France, specializing in high-quality wines that respect the terroir. This specific Saint-Véran is a dry white wine made from Chardonnay grapes in the Mâconnais sub-region of southern Burgundy.

The brand's history dates back to 1880 when Joseph Drouhin founded the négociant house in Beaune. Over decades, the family has acquired prime vineyard holdings throughout Burgundy, including the famous Clos des Mouches. Ownership remains within the Drouhin family, represented by the four grandchildren of the founder, making it one of the few large Burgundy houses to stay independent and family-owned through the 21st century.
