Chupa Chups is an iconic Spanish confectionery brand founded in 1958 by Enric Bernat. Known worldwide for its lollipops, the brand also produces a variety of sugar-free compressed mints and candies under its umbrella. The brand's visual identity gained fame partly due to its logo being designed by the surrealist artist Salvador Dalí in 1969.
Today, Chupa Chups is manufactured primarily in Spain, specifically at its facility in Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Barcelona), which supplies both domestic and international markets. In 2006, the Italian-Dutch multinational corporation Perfetti Van Melle acquired the brand, integrating it into one of the world's largest confectionery portfolios. Perfetti Van Melle continues to manage the brand's global distribution and production, maintaining the Spanish heritage of the original product design while leveraging a vast global supply chain.
