Ziggo Next remote control

Ziggo is the largest cable television provider in the Netherlands. The remote control shown in the image is specifically for the Ziggo Next set-top box, which was introduced to provide high-definition content and streaming capabilities to Dutch customers.

Historically, Ziggo was formed through the merger of multiple regional Dutch cable companies like Multikabel, Casema, and @Home. Today, Ziggo is part of VodafoneZiggo, a joint venture established in late 2016 between the UK-based telecommunications giant Vodafone and the US-based international cable company Liberty Global. While the brand is quintessentially Dutch in its operations and consumer identity, its ultimate ownership is shared between British and American corporate entities.
