Pickwick is a renowned tea brand with a heritage dating back to 1753, originating from the Netherlands. The brand was established by Egbert Douwes and his wife Akke Thijsses in the town of Joure. Originally operating under the Douwe Egberts name, the 'Pickwick' brand was introduced in 1937, inspired by the Charles Dickens novel 'The Pickwick Papers'.
