Nolan is a prestigious Italian brand specialized in the production of motorcycle helmets. Founded in 1972 by Lander Nocchi, the brand's name is actually an acronym of the founder's name. Nolan established itself early on by utilizing Lexan, a polycarbonate material developed by General Electric, which offered superior protection and lighter weight compared to traditional materials of the time.

Unlike many competitors that have moved production to Asia, Nolan has maintained its manufacturing roots in Brembate di Sopra, Italy.
