Falcon Ljus Lager beer

Falcon is a historic Swedish beer brand with deep roots in Falkenberg, where it was founded in 1896 by John L. Skantze under the name Bryggeri AB Falken. Over more than a century, Falcon has grown into one of Sweden's most recognized beer labels, famous for its association with the falcon bird and its traditional brewing heritage.

Today, the beer is produced by Carlsberg Sverige at the brewery located in Falkenberg. While the brand remains intensely Swedish in identity and production, its ownership has transitioned through major mergers. Initially part of the Swedish conglomerate Pripps, it merged with Ringnes and was eventually acquired by the Danish multinational brewing giant Carlsberg Group. This ensures that while the beer is made using Swedish water and local pride, it benefits from the global distribution network of its Danish parent company.
