Today, the brand's production and ownership are split globally. In the United States and Canada, Miracle Whip is produced and owned by Kraft Heinz. However, in Europe and other international markets (including Denmark), the brand and manufacturing are managed by Mondelez International. This split occurred when Kraft Foods Inc. spun off its North American grocery business into Kraft Foods Group (now Kraft Heinz) while the global snacks and international food business became Mondelez International. Products sold in Europe are typically manufactured in regional plants such as those in Germany.
