Sensodyne Pronamel, known as Proschmelz in German-speaking markets, is a specialized toothpaste brand designed to protect tooth enamel from acid erosion. The brand was originally developed by Block Drug, a US-based company founded in 1907. GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) acquired Block Drug in 2001, bringing Sensodyne into its consumer healthcare portfolio.

In July 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into a new independent company called Haleon. Today, Haleon is the ultimate owner of the Sensodyne brand. While the brand has British and American corporate roots, manufacturing is distributed globally across several facilities to serve international markets, with major production sites in the United Kingdom, Slovakia, and the United States.
