Prince is a iconic Danish brand of cigarettes that was first introduced in 1957 by Chr. Augustine's Fabrikker in Copenhagen. For decades, it was the market leader in Denmark and became synonymous with Danish smoking culture. The brand was later produced by Skandinavisk Tobakskompagni (Scandinavian Tobacco Group).

In 2008, British American Tobacco (BAT) acquired the cigarette division of Scandinavian Tobacco Group, which included the Prince brand. Today, while the brand maintains its historical connection to Denmark, its manufacturing has largely moved to centralized global production facilities, most notably in Poland, to supply the Nordic markets. The ultimate owner, British American Tobacco, is one of the world's largest multinational tobacco companies, headquartered in London.
