L'OR is a premium coffee brand established in France in 1992 with the ambition to bring the 'gold standard' of coffee to consumers. It is well-known for being the first brand to launch coffee capsules compatible with Nespresso machines in supermarkets, which significantly expanded its global footprint. The Forza variety featured here is a high-intensity espresso blend made from 100% Arabica beans.

The brand is currently owned by JDE Peet's, the world's leading pure-play coffee and tea company. While the brand has French origins, its manufacturing and roasting processes take place in various specialized facilities across Europe (notably France and the Netherlands) to serve international markets. Ownership of the brand shifted to Jacob Douwe Egberts (JDE) following a merger of the coffee divisions of Mondelez International and D.E Master Blenders 1753, eventually becoming part of the JDE Peet's portfolio.
