The Virgin Media Stream installation guide is a printed instructional document provided to customers with the Virgin Stream box, an IP-based television service. The brand 'Virgin Media' was originally established through the merger of NTL and Telewest in 2006, acquiring the 'Virgin' brand license from Richard Branson's Virgin Group.
Today, the brand is part of a 50:50 joint venture known as VM O2, following the merger between Virgin Media and O2 in the UK. The ultimate owners are the American multinational Liberty Global and the Spanish telecommunications giant Telefónica. While the hardware for the Stream service is often imported from international manufacturers, the printed literature and customer support localized for the UK market are typically produced within the United Kingdom.
