Božkov Vaječný Likér

Božkov is one of the most iconic Czech spirits brands, deeply rooted in the brewing and distilling traditions of the Plzeň region. The brand traces its history back to 1920 when spirits production began in the Božkov district of Plzeň. While best known for its 'Tuzemský' spirit, the brand also produces this popular 'Vaječný likér' (egg liqueur), which is a staple in many Czech households, particularly during festive seasons.

While the brand maintains its traditional Czech identity and manufacturing base in Plzeň, its ownership has transitioned through international hands following the privatization era. Today, Božkov is the flagship brand of Stock Spirits Group. Historically a public company on the London Stock Exchange, Stock Spirits Group was acquired by the private equity firm CVC Capital Partners in late 2021. This move placed the traditional Czech brand under the umbrella of a global investment firm, although the production remains firmly situated in the Czech Republic to preserve its original recipe and local heritage.
