Marabou is a heritage Swedish chocolate brand established in 1916 by Johan Throne Holst. It represents a pillar of Scandinavian confectionery culture, famous for its smooth milk chocolate profile. The brand was originally created by the company Marabou AB, which was named after the Marabou stork found on the logo of its Norwegian sister company, Freia.

While the brand is Swedish by origin and still maintains its primary factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, for many flagship products, some specific variants like small bars or specific fillings are manufactured in other European facilities within the global supply chain, notably Lithuania. In 2012, Marabou became part of the snacking giant Mondelēz International following the split of Kraft Foods. Today, Mondelēz International oversees global production and distribution, ensuring the brand remains a dominant player in the Nordic market while adhering to the Cocoa Life sustainability program.
