Ouzo of Plomari Isidoros Arvanitis is one of Greece's most famous traditional spirits, originating from the village of Plomari on the island of Lesvos. Created in 1894 by Isidoros Arvanitis, the drink is crafted using a secret recipe that includes high-quality aniseed from the village of Lisvori, soft water from the Sedountas River, and various herbs.

The brand has maintained its heritage by continuing to produce the spirit in copper stills using traditional distillation methods. Today, the brand is owned by the Kaloyiannis family, who have expanded its reach to over 40 countries while keeping the production strictly localized in Plomari. This ensures the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of the anise-based beverage.
