Manufacturing remains rooted in its country of origin, with all Almondy cakes produced at their dedicated bakery in Torslanda, just outside Gothenburg. In 2023, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the Austrian-based company Vivatis Holding AG.
