Bai Simbu Strawberry is an antioxidant-infused strawberry-flavored beverage marketed under the 'WonderWater' tagline by the Bai brand. The beverage is known for its low-calorie content, utilization of electrolytes, and use of natural sweeteners like stevia and erythritol, avoiding artificial alternatives. Bai products often highlight the use of coffee fruit (the pulp of the coffee cherry) as a source of antioxidants.
The brand was founded in 2009 by Ben Weiss in Princeton, New Jersey, initially operating out of his basement. It quickly rose to prominence in the US market due to its focus on 'clean' ingredients and healthy hydration. In 2017, the brand reached a major milestone when it was acquired by the beverage giant Dr Pepper Snapple Group (now Keurig Dr Pepper) for $1.7 billion. Today, Bai continues to be a staple in the functional water category, distributed widely across North America and International markets under the Keurig Dr Pepper corporate umbrella.
