True North is a premium snack brand specializing in nut-based clusters and snacks. Originally launched by PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division in 2008, the brand was created to offer a healthier, more natural snack alternative focused on simple ingredients like almonds, pecans, and cashews.

In 2010, the brand was acquired by DeMet's Candy Company. Later, in 2013, Yıldız Holding (the Turkish conglomerate) acquired DeMet's Candy Company, placing True North under the umbrella of its global snacking subsidiary, pladis. The products are primarily manufactured in the United States, maintaining their focus on gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegan-friendly snack profiles designed for health-conscious consumers.
