Läkerol YUP Strawberry Lime Pastilles

Läkerol YUP is a modern extension of the classic Läkerol brand, specifically designed for a younger audience with a 'Sugarfree & Sprinkled' concept. The brand originated in 1909 when Adolf Ahlgren introduced the pastilles in Sweden. Ahlgren’s company, founded in Gävle, became famous for its distinct 'A' logo, which remains a core visual element today.

Over the decades, the brand underwent various ownership changes. In 1993, Ahlgren was acquired by the Finnish company Huhtamäki, and it was later merged into Leaf. Today, the brand is part of the Cloetta portfolio following the merger of Leaf and Cloetta in 2012. While the brand has deep Swedish roots, most modern production for the Läkerol line, including YUP pastilles, takes place in Cloetta's centralized manufacturing facilities in Levice, Slovakia.
