SECUSO Privacy Friendly Apps

SECUSO (Security-Usability-Society) is a research group that originated at the Technische Universität Darmstadt and later moved to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. The group focuses on developing 'Privacy Friendly Apps' for Android, which are designed to be functional while requiring the absolute minimum permissions and containing zero tracking mechanisms or advertisements.

Technically developed and maintained within Germany, these applications are open-source and often available via platforms like GitHub and the Google Play Store.
