In 2017, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by Spendrups Bryggeri, one of Sweden's largest independent beverage companies.

Today, Trocadero remains a proud symbol of Swedish carbonated drink heritage. Under Spendrups' ownership, the brand has maintained its traditional recipe while expanding its market reach and introducing modern variations such as sugar-free versions, all while keeping production firmly rooted in Swedish facilities.
