Margon Medium mineral water

Margon is a traditional mineral water brand with a rich history dating back to its discovery in 1903 in the Saxon region of Burkhardswalde, Germany. Known for its tagline "Prickelnd frisch seit 1903" (Sparkling fresh since 1903), the brand has remained a staple in Eastern Germany.

Originally established as the Margonbrunnen, the brand went through various industrial nationalization phases during the GDR era. After German reunification, it was eventually acquired by the Lichtenauer Mineralquellen GmbH, a subsidiary of the Hesse-based Hassia Group. Today, the water is bottled at modern facilities following strict German mineral water regulations, maintaining its heritage as one of Saxony's most recognizable beverage brands under the umbrella of one of Germany's largest family-owned beverage corporations.
