While the brand has its strategic and creative roots in Germany, where the product specifications and quality standards are defined by Lidl’s procurement teams, the actual manufacturing is predominantly outsourced to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in China. This model allows the brand to maintain highly competitive pricing while adhering to European safety and quality certifications.

As a private label, Silvercrest does not exist as an independent corporation. It is fully owned and managed by the Schwarz Group, one of the world's largest retail corporations. The brand serves as a cornerstone of Lidl's strategy to offer high-value technical products under a proprietary name across their global network of supermarkets.
