Golden Toast Dinkel Toast

Golden Toast is a prominent German bakery brand specialized in sliced toast bread. Launched in 1963 by several regional bakeries (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Golden Toast), it became the market leader in Germany for industrial packaged bread. The brand is known for its wide range of toast varieties, including wheat, whole grain, and the spelt (Dinkel) version shown here.

Manufacturing takes place at multiple regional bakeries across Germany to ensure freshness and reduce transport times. Since 2002, the brand has been under the ownership of the Lieken Group, which is one of the largest industrial bakery businesses in Europe. The ultimate ownership lies with the Czech conglomerate Agrofert, which acquired Lieken in 2013. The products are predominantly distributed in the DACH region.
