Delirium Tremens is a world-renowned Belgian beer first launched in 1988. It is famous for its iconic pink elephant logo and its distinctive ceramic-style bottles. It gained international fame after being named 'Best Beer in the World' at the World Beer Championships in Chicago in 1997.

The brand is manufactured exclusively at the Huyghe Brewery (Brouwerij Huyghe) located in Melle, Belgium. This brewery has a history dating back to 1906 when Leon Huyghe purchased an existing brewery in the town. Since then, the company has remained a family-owned independent enterprise, passing through several generations of the Huyghe family.

Unlike many global beer brands that have been acquired by multinational conglomerates, Brouwerij Huyghe remains independent. It continues to operate out of its historic site in Melle, maintaining traditional Belgian brewing methods while expanding its global reaching to over 100 countries.
