Bellasan is a well-known private label brand primarily owned and distributed by the German discount supermarket giant, Aldi. Originally established as a store brand to provide high-quality alternatives to premium margarine and oil products, Bellasan has grown to encompass a wide variety of cooking fats, including sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, and various grades of olive oil.

Because Bellasan is a retailer-owned brand, its manufacturing is not tied to a single factory. Instead, Aldi outsources production to various large-scale food processing companies across Europe. For olive oil specifically, the raw materials are typically sourced from major olive-producing nations such as Spain, Italy, or Greece, while the bottling and distribution are managed through Aldi's extensive logistics network. Ownership of the brand is split between Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd, depending on the region of sale, both of which are headquartered in Germany.
