Starting in 2004, the brand underwent significant ownership changes. Currently, Grundig is an international brand owned by Arçelik A.Ş., a Turkish multinational household appliances manufacturer. While the brand maintains its historical and engineering roots in Germany through Grundig Intermedia GmbH, most physical consumer electronics like hair dryers are manufactured in global production centers, primarily in China and Turkey, to serve international markets including Germany.
