Brouwerij 't IJ Vrijwit

Brouwerij 't IJ Vrijwit is an alcohol-free white beer (witbier) produced by the iconic Amsterdam-based brewery, Brouwerij 't IJ. Founded in 1985 by Kasper Peterson in a former municipal bathhouse next to the De Gooyer windmill, the brewery quickly became a staple of the Dutch craft beer scene, known for its distinctive ostrich logo.

While the brewery started as an independent craft operation, it entered into a strategic partnership with Duvel Moortgat in 2015 to support its growth and distribution. Vrijwit is the non-alcoholic version of their popular 'IJwit', brewed with lemon and coriander for a refreshing taste. Today, the brand remains deeply rooted in Amsterdam although it is part of a larger international portfolio.
