Originally founded in San Sebastián by the company Lizariturry y Rezola, the brand became famous for its natural bar soap used for laundry. Today, the brand is owned and manufactured by Euroquímica, a family-owned Spanish company that acquired the brand to preserve its heritage. Most production takes place in Spain, specifically at their facilities in Illescas (Toledo) and Zaragoza.
